Master of Science in Nursing Adult Gerontology

The Master of Science in Nursing Adult-Gerontology prepares Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner students to provide and direct care for patients across the adult age spectrum, including late adolescence, in primary care settings. The curriculum track is designed to prepare students for the certification examination as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program.

The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Students describe an in-person, on-campus experience that includes advisory meetings with faculty. Support staff and program faculty assist students in preparing for the national certification exam and in reaching their professional goals as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
