Master of Science in Psychology

The Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) at Lincoln Memorial University is an online graduate psychology program with two tracks: General Psychology and Forensic Psychology. Students study topics that include statistical analysis and applied psychology, with focus areas such as forensic psychology, legal and ethical issues, and addiction.

The program can be completed in as little as 16 months. It includes a summer practicum and offers course credit for volunteering at a behavioral science placement. Instruction is fully online, and class sizes are described as small and intimate for more involved learning.

• Completed Bachelor Degree: Your undergraduate degree must have been awarded by an institution with regional accreditation or its equivalent. An international degree must comply with university policies for certifying international degrees and/or credits. A minimum of 18 hours of undergraduate coursework in psychology or related field is required.
• Grade Point Average (GPA): You must have earned an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher on a four-point scale.
• Letters of Reference: You are required to provide two letters of reference from your undergraduate instructors or one letter from an instructor and another from a professional source.
• Personal Statement: You must submit an essay concerning your reasons for applying to the LMU Master of Science in Psychology program, your relevant skills, qualifications, preparation and a statement of goals after completing the program.
• If one or more of these requirements are not met, an entrance interview may be required.
