Master of Veterinary Clinical Care

The Master of Veterinary Clinical Care (MVCC) at Lincoln Memorial University is designed for credentialed veterinary technicians who have completed undergraduate studies in veterinary medicine and want to deepen clinical expertise and advance in veterinary practice. The curriculum focuses on patient case management, clinical and professional skills, and evidence-based medicine.

The program is offered as 100% online and flexible, with course content and assignments completed on the student’s schedule. It follows an accelerated timeline, with the degree earned in as few as three semesters (30 credit hours). Enrollment is customizable through full-time (9 credits/semester) or part-time (6 credits/semester) options. Courses are taught by experienced DVMs and Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS).

To qualify for the MVCC program, you must:

• Hold a bachelor's degree (in any field) from a regionally accredited institution (or verified international equivalent)
• A cumulative GPA of 2.8+
• Proof of veterinary technician licensure (LVT, CVT, LVMT, RVT)*
• Have completed all prerequisite coursework with a minimum GPA of C or better per course

*Applicants in Puerto Rico must have graduated from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.

Application materials submitted through the PostbacCAS application system must include: completed PostbacCAS application; official transcripts from all institutions attended; proof of veterinary technician licensure*; two letters of recommendation; full curriculum vitae (CV); and two essay responses (500 words max each) to the provided prompts.
