Pomona College’s Master Plan describes a facilities and land use master planning process. The goal is to create a road map for future development of the Pomona College campus and to support future strategic academic planning efforts.
The planning objectives include gaining a better understanding of adjacency and affinity issues that affect the academic mission and provide a positive interface with neighbors. The plan also focuses on constructing additional new science facilities at the east end of the current science precinct, identifying potential new building sites in the less-developed southeastern portion of the campus, and exploring opportunities for renovating existing buildings in the academic portion of the campus based on space and adjacency needs.
