Masters Architecture Graduate Taisiia Kolisnyk

The Master of Architecture program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette includes work tied to architecture and design at the College of the Arts Digital Fabrication Lab, where laser cutters, CNC routers, software, and 3-D printing machinery support fabrication activities. It also includes student support roles, such as coordinating fabrication submissions and providing tutorials for undergraduate students.

A graduate assistant in the Digital Fabrication Lab supported students during the pandemic by coordinating fabrication deliveries so the making process continued without campus occupancy. The program also includes student design work, including a project on designing for equity selected to represent the School of Architecture in the NOMAS Barbara G. Laurie Student Design Competition. Graduates may pursue professional architecture licensing and credentials in green building design and sustainability.
