The combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence builds from an undergraduate Computer Science degree into graduate coursework through an AI graduate track. Students study programming concepts related to AI, learn to identify and implement AI applications to solve problems, and practice creating and using AI systems. The program also includes analysis and application of AI concepts in a chosen field of interest, plus understanding business needs and the AI job market.
Courses are delivered on campus at Discovery Park, a research facility with academic laboratories, offices, and classrooms, served by a free shuttle. The estimated time to complete the combined degree is 5-6 years, with 153 credit hours. Students can specialize in machine learning, biomedical engineering, or autonomous systems. Graduate students may receive teaching and research assistantships, which include a monthly stipend and may qualify students for in-state tuition rates, along with tuition and fee support for many students.
