Masters Computer Science Degrees

The University of North Texas offers a combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree path in Computer Science. In the graduate portion, students study areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, natural language processing, and other research areas. The program also includes a focus on balancing theoretical and experimental aspects of hardware and software issues, with an interdisciplinary learning approach.

The program is delivered on campus and uses an accelerated graduate track. The grad track allows students to move into graduate-level coursework as they complete the bachelor’s degree, which supports uninterrupted learning while pursuing advanced education. The learning environment includes small classes and laboratories, and it provides access to an Apache web server and a MySQL database server. Research lab space includes Centers for Information and Cybersecurity and Net-Centric Software, plus 13 dedicated research labs.
