The University of West Florida offers an online Master of Science in Information Technology. The curriculum builds IT skills for leadership roles and focuses on topics such as programming, data visualization, network performance monitoring and security, trends in information technology, trends in data analytics, and cloud computing architecture and security. Students also study information processing and data analytics using standard programming languages and available packages.
The program includes 30 credit hours in total, with 21 credit hours of core courses and nine elective credits. Students can use electives to tailor the degree to their interests and goals. The online master’s program ends with a thesis- or project-based capstone to demonstrate mastery in computing.
