Masters Mechanical Engineering Technology and Engineering Technology Degrees

The Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Mechanical Engineering Technology and Engineering Technology Degrees at the University of North Texas pair the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) with a Master of Science (M.S.). The Mechanical Engineering Technology program focuses on applying science and engineering to analyze, design, develop, implement, and oversee advanced mechanical systems and processes.

Students can choose one of three concentrations for the Master of Science in Engineering Technology: Construction Management, Engineering Management, or Mechanical Systems. The program is available on campus. Full-time students may be able to complete the Master’s degree plan in three semesters, and the department offers a grad track option for currently enrolled UNT undergraduate students majoring in mechanical engineering technology, allowing up to nine credit hours of graduate courses while completing the BS; those credit hours can count toward the MS.
