Masters Social Work

The Ohio Northern University 3+2 Master’s Degree in Social Work is a pathway that combines an undergraduate psychology major with graduate study in social work through Case Western Reserve University. You major in psychology at ONU with a general or clinical/counseling concentration and work toward either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. The program includes a total plan that leads to a master’s degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University.

At ONU, you complete undergraduate work that includes 90 hours of coursework covering general education and psychology major requirements. By the end of your junior year, you must apply to and be accepted by Case Western Reserve University into their MSW program. Your general education elective coursework for the undergraduate program is moved to your senior year, which counts toward elective hours in your first year of MSW coursework at Case. After completing the study plan, you earn your psychology degree from Ohio Northern University and the MSW from Case Western Reserve University.
