The Biology Transfer, Medical Laboratory Sciences BS – Associate in Arts (URI) is a Joint Admissions Agreement program built around biology and allied health coursework. You complete general education requirements and major requirements that include Introductory Biology: Organismal and Cellular, Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Introductory Microbiology, and General Microbiology, along with General Chemistry I and II and General Physics I.
Completion can occur at the Knight (Warwick) Campus, but the program requires one or more courses be completed online. The program totals 63 credit hours. Students who complete the JAA plan receive an Associate’s degree and enter URI with 60 credits and Junior status, after completing all requirements.
