The Bachelor of Arts in Music at Oklahoma City University combines music study with a larger set of non-music elective hours and fewer music-specific hours than the Bachelor of Music track. Students complete a basic curricular track in musical studies and build toward interdisciplinary careers that incorporate music and law through the BA Music + Pre-Law degree track.
The degree includes a significant performance component and requires students to receive credit for six semesters of Music Assembly in their first six semesters at Oklahoma City University. The curriculum uses a suggested course sequence that students confirm with an advisor, and it requires a minimum of 124 earned credit hours. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to be considered full-time.
