The Ph.D. Program Interview Tips for Washington and Lee University’s Cognitive and Behavioral Science graduate school in psychology explain how graduate school interviews work for doctoral training. The guidance covers how to prepare and how to conduct yourself during the interview, including asking for itinerary details, reviewing mentor backgrounds on PsycInfo, and arriving early with directions and parking plans. It also provides example questions about mentorship, training timelines and outcomes, funding, teaching assistantships, program and lab culture, and community and lifestyle.
