The Post-Master’s Certificate Programs in Nursing Education (12 credits) are for people with a master’s degree in nursing who want additional knowledge for roles as a nurse educator or nurse leader. Graduates develop capacity in professional, ethical, and legal nursing practice, and they use advanced theoretical knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate programs that promote health and prevent illness.
Coursework includes curriculum development, teaching strategies for nursing education, and technology strategies for digital and online courses, including strategies for simulation. The program also covers nursing education evaluation and integrates nursing research findings into evidence-based processes to support critical thinking for clinical, educational, and administrative judgments.
Applicants should submit an application and prepare: Resume/CV, Personal statement, Two recommendations, and Official transcripts from all institutions attended.
