The Professional Spanish Graduate Certificate is an online graduate certificate that prepares students for careers that require proficiency in Spanish in education-related roles, school administration, manager roles, and social and human services positions. Students advance their language skills in Spanish to the Advanced level of oral and written proficiency and beyond, build Hispanic cultural competence, and study language acquisition theories.
Coursework includes language acquisition, Spanish translation, creative writing in Spanish, Spanish in the community, Hispanic popular cultures, film and society in the Spanish-speaking world, and Hispanic cultures in the media. This program is offered 100% online. Certificate requirements and course descriptions are available in the Graduate Catalog.
