Theatre Musical BA Ric

This Theatre Musical BA (Associate in Arts, RIC) is a Performing Arts Transfer program that prepares students for a four-year bachelor’s degree. Students train in acting, movement, and musical theatre history, applying these techniques to materials in stage and classroom settings.

The program is structured around general education requirements and major requirements totaling 61–65 hours. Courses include Communication Fundamentals, Composition I, Introduction to Theatre, The American Musical, Acting I, and Movement for Actors. The program may be completed at the Knight (Warwick) Campus, but requires one or more courses to be completed online.

This program at CCRI is a part of the Joint Admissions Agreement (JAA). JAA helps students transfer seamlessly to Rhode Island College (RIC) or the University of Rhode Island (URI).

Students who are eligible for the JAA program have earned less than 30 college credits at the time of joining and have not attended any other college or university.
