Theology BA

In the Theology BA at Whitworth University, you study Christian thought with an emphasis on engaging fundamental questions of life. The program includes learning to think critically, participate in Christian living, and discern Jesus Christ’s call, with encouragement to pursue a vocation of Christian mission. You are supported by a community of professor-mentors and classmates, along with spiritual formation during challenging study.

The BA includes the Senior Seminar course, where vocation is a major focus and guest speakers address career paths after graduation. You also receive mentorship for presenting your original research at the Spokane Intercollegiate Research Conference. Outside the classroom, theology majors can take part in campus volunteer and discussion activities and lead or join open discussions across the campus.
