Boise State University Idaho USA Graduate Assistantships

Boise State University offers Graduate Assistantships for the Master of Accountancy Program. Boise State describes a graduate assistantship as an opportunity to work with various departments within the College of Business and Economics (COBE), or anywhere on campus, while working toward a graduate degree.

Boise State states that COBE graduate assistants may work in academic research and support for faculty, tutor undergraduate students, teach undergraduate classes, or support event coordination and/or marketing COBE through the Graduate Business Studies Office. COBE offers a limited number of GA positions for full-time graduate business students.

Boise State requires eligible candidates to be fully admitted to their degree program and to attend full-time (9-12 graduate credits) during the award. Boise State also states that contracts are not automatically renewed, but students may apply for a second year.

Boise State states that the GA waives all tuition and fees and pays a stipend of approximately $11,000 for the academic year. The GA requires 20 hours of work per week throughout the semester. Boise State also notes that occasionally GA awards are available during the spring semester only.
