International Graduate Fellowships are available each academic year for students possessing an F-1 visa and who have been admitted to one of Frostburg State University’s graduate programs. Applicants apply and are chosen by a review committee based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals.
The fellowship is aimed at graduate students admitted to Frostburg State University who meet the stated academic requirement of a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and hold an F-1 visa. Awards are given for the academic year only, and summer positions are not described for this fellowship.
Selection is handled through an application and review by a committee. The committee chooses recipients based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals.
Awards are provided for the academic year only and may be renewed if the recipient maintains full-time enrollment, a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and remains in good academic standing. The award covers tuition for up to 30 credit hours per academic year and includes an annual stipend.
