Service Area High School Scholarships

Martin Community College Foundation provides “Service Area High School Scholarships” to the high schools in the MCC service area with $500 scholarship(s) for students to attend MCC during the academic year immediately following graduation from high school. Recipients are then eligible to receive $500 scholarships for the following academic year upon satisfactory academic progress.

The award is tied to students graduating from high schools in the MCC service area and attending Martin Community College. Service Area High School Scholarships are only valid for the two years immediately following high school graduation.

High school guidance officers select award recipients through a competitive process at each high school. The scholarship selection is therefore handled at the student’s high school by guidance officers.

Support is provided as $500 scholarships for the academic year immediately following graduation and an additional $500 for the following academic year if the student shows satisfactory academic progress. Service Area High School Scholarships are only valid for the two years immediately following high school graduation.
