State Employees' Credit Union Scholarship is a two-year scholarship program established by SECU Foundation to assist North Carolina Community College System students in achieving academic success.
SECU Foundation provides two $5,000 scholarships to students at each North Carolina Community College. The scholarship is available to eligible students attending participating North Carolina community colleges.
At Martin Community College, the Financial Aid Director reviews applications and presents candidates to the MCC Scholarship Committee based on the student’s academic record, financial need, and other criteria set forth by the individual scholarships. The MCC Scholarship Committee makes the final decision on scholarship awards.
The scholarship is payable at $1,250 per semester, up to four consecutive semesters, and is described as a two-year scholarship program through that payout schedule.
