UC Davis USA California-Denmark Innovator Fellowship

The University of California, Davis and the Novo Nordisk Foundation fund the “California—Denmark Innovator Fellowship,” described as a bilateral innovation exchange focused on translating academic research into innovation and entrepreneurial activities in areas related to food and planetary health. It involves spending 6 months at UC Davis and participating in activities with UC Davis Innovation Institute for Food and Health.

Selection is based on the eligibility criteria listed for applicants, including completion of a Ph.D. within the last five-year period and a strong research background and passion for innovation, as well as fit with the specified research areas. Applicants should also consider visa feasibility for entry and stay in the USA for a period of at least 6 months.

Support covers postdoc salary up to 300.000 DKK and includes travel, accommodation, professional development and more. Fellows conduct technical and commercial research at UC Davis and participate in seminars and mentorship.
