University of Nebraska Kearney International Loper Scholarship

The University of Nebraska at Kearney automatically considers international students for the International Loper Tuition Waiver when they apply. The International Loper Tuition Waiver provides a tuition savings of 30% to reduce the overall cost.

The tuition waiver is for first-time freshmen, transfer and re-enrolling undergraduate, degree-seeking international students. It applies to students enrolled on campus as undergraduate students and does not apply to graduate courses or graduate degree programs.

Successful admission into an undergraduate degree-seeking program of study on campus confirms qualifications for the tuition waiver; otherwise, other international students may require a separate application. Renewal is reviewed at the end of each spring semester, and students can lose the tuition waiver if renewal criteria are not met.

Students must maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours) each semester, with enrollment status checked on the last day of the first week of classes (drop and add week). Eligibility ends upon receipt of a bachelor’s degree or after ten semesters, whichever comes first.
