University of Vermont MSc/PhD Assistantship Scholarship

The Bernos F.I.S.H. lab at the University of Vermont offers a funded MSc or PhD research assistantship focused on the human dimensions of fisheries in Lake Champlain. The stated purpose is to support a thesis for the candidate on one or more aspects of the fisheries of Lake Champlain, using human dimensions methods and/or fishery techniques.

The opportunity is aimed at applicants applying for either an MSc or a PhD position. The lab considers candidates from a range of disciplines, including fisheries science, ecology, natural resources, human dimensions of natural resources, environmental studies, geography, sociology, anthropology, data science and network analysis, and other related disciplines.
