USA St. John’s University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Programs

St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers one-year and two-year, post-Pharm.D. fellowship programs designed to train Doctor of Pharmacy graduates in specific practice areas within the pharmaceutical industry. The College partners with American Regent, Inc.; Pfizer Inc.; Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company; AbbVie Inc.; PTC Therapeutics; and Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc.

In addition to responsibilities at program partners, fellows have opportunities to engage in teaching and research activities with St. John’s University. For fellowships beginning in the recruiting cycle described, the programs list positions across areas including Medical Affairs, Global Access, Strategy, and Pricing - Oncology, Clinical Development, and Clinical Operations.

St. John’s University states that it uses an application process where candidates submit required materials by email to fellowship program leadership to be considered for an initial interview for the listed programs. Programmatic interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis and are conducted virtually. In-person interviews may be conducted during the ASHP Midyear Clinical meeting if candidates and the affiliated partner are attending.

The programs are described as one-year and two-year fellowships for Doctor of Pharmacy graduates.

2. If applying to more than one program, submit a unique Letter of Intent for each program along with a current curriculum vitae.
3. Submit documents with titles that include the candidate’s first name, last name, and document type (for example, CV or LOI).
4. Participate in a programmatic interview that is scheduled on a rolling basis and conducted virtually.
