WVC Foundation Winter Application Period

The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation awards over 200 scholarships annually and offers three application periods during the academic year (fall, winter, and spring). Wenatchee Valley College students can apply online during these open application periods using AwardSpring.

All current WVC students are eligible to apply, including part time students. All new and continuing students who plan to attend Wenatchee Valley College during the current academic year are eligible to apply for WVC Foundation scholarships. Your application is automatically considered for all scholarships you are eligible for.

Applicants must apply online during an open application period and complete the scholarship application, which includes general information, academic information, financial information, qualification questions, transcript upload, and five essay questions (up to 140 words each). Award notifications are sent after the quarterly deadline, based on eligibility and review.

Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. If awarded, you will be asked to submit a follow-up form through AwardSpring to confirm acceptance and keep scholarship donors informed. Some scholarships may be renewable, with notifications sent to eligible recipients in the summer.

• Scholarship award amounts vary based on available annual funding and through reviewing each student’s unmet cost of attendance, as determined by the Financial Aid office. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. Renewable scholarships may provide a scholarship for a second year.

1. Apply online during the open application period at wvc.awardspring.com.
2. Register for an account on AwardSpring and use a valid email address.
3. Complete the scholarship application, including general information, academic information, financial information, qualification questions, transcript upload, and five essay questions (up to 140 words each).
4. After submitting, check your email because award notifications and other critical information are sent to the email listed on your application.
5. If awarded, submit a follow-up form through AwardSpring to confirm acceptance.
