Drexel University: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Drexel University is a United States university with undergraduate study options and a strong co-op model built into degree programs. It suits students who want a bachelor’s degree and are looking for study plus paid work experience before graduation.

  2. What you can study

You can study at bachelor’s level in areas including Accounting, Agricultural Sciences, Art, Biological Science, Biology Education Grades 6-12, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, and Early Childhood Education Grades PK-3. The university also offers the option of a post-baccalaureate certificate in Early Childhood Education Grades PK–3. Drexel is a research university, and its degree structure includes cooperative education that can add up to 18 months of paid, full-time work experience connected to the student’s major.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the university’s official admissions process and check the current entry requirements on the website. Because the published programme list is limited to undergraduate study in the available information, confirm the exact course, documents, deadlines, and any visa-related instructions with admissions before applying.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee in the available information; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. Living costs in Philadelphia will depend on housing, transport, food, and personal spending, so check a current budget before you apply.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not published here, so confirm it on the official website before applying. If you are moving from abroad, check admission documents, visa steps, housing options, and whether your chosen programme includes co-op periods that will affect your schedule and work rights.

  6. How it compares

There are 2,515 universities in the country, so Drexel sits in a very large field. Its most distinctive feature in comparison is the co-op model, which can matter more than size or broad programme count if you want study combined with relevant paid work experience.
