University of Kent Scholarships in History for Masters 2015

The School of History is pleased to offer three scholarships for Taught MA or MSc students: The Scholarships are available to UK, EU and overseas students wishing to undertake a Taught Masters degree in or affiliated to the School of History. The Scholarships will cover tuition fees at the home/EU rate as well as a maintenance bursary. The Scholarship is open to all Taught Masters applicants who have applied (or are applying) to the School of History; the Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (MEMS); the Centre for American Studies; or the Science, Communication and Society MSc for the academic year starting September 2015. Applicants must hold a good bachelor’s degree (First or high 2:1) in a relevant subject; it is strongly recommended that they have a History background.

Applications should be sent by post or by email. To apply for these School of History scholarships applicants must, In addition to their application for study:

  • -Provide a copy of their CV. This should include full name, address, telephone number and email address, as well as the names and contact details of two referees (address, email, telephone number).
  • -Provide a letter (one side of A4) explaining why they would like to take the programme for which they have applied and their specific research interests.

The application deadline is 16th March 2015.
