Applications are invited for ITS scholarships to undertake full-time master’s study (MA and MSc programmes) in Transport Studies at University of Leeds starting from September 2015. A total of four ITS scholarships will be awarded as follows: two for international students, one for Southeast Asian student and one for UK/EU student. The scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee waiver (£7875 for international and Southeast Asia scholarships and £3000 UK/EU scholarship) for the 2015-16 academic year. The application deadlines are 15th June, 2015 and 7th July, 2015 (for UK/EU scholarship).
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded for any of the five programmes: Transport Economics, Sustainability (Transport), Transport Planning, Transport Planning and the Environment and (Eng) Transport Planning and Engineering.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing masters study (MA and MSc programmes) at ITS.

Eligibility:
-Applicants must first hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of an academic place on an ITS Masters programme for the academic year commencing September 2015, and be designated by the University as being of international fee status (international scholarship) or UK/EU fee status (UK/EU scholarship).
-Applicants must have citizenship and residency of one of the following countries: Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, to be eligible for Southeast Asia Scholarship.
- UK/EU, international students and students from following countries Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are eligible for these ITS scholarships.
- ITS, the University of Leeds and other organisations administer a number of scholarships each year for UK, EU and international students. These range from partial course fee payment to full maintenance grants of up to £10,000 tax-free plus course fees. The following types of scholarships are awarded:
-International Transport Masters Scholarships: The scholarships will fund 50% of the tuition fees for two international students to undertake a full time Masters degree programme at ITS.
-Southeast Asia Transport Masters Scholarship: The scholarship will fund 50% of the tuition fees for a Southeast Asian student to undertake a fulltime Masters degree programme at ITS.
-UK/EU Transport Masters Scholarship: The scholarship will fund 50% of the tuition fees for a UK/EU student to undertake a full-time Masters degree programme at ITS. - A total of four ITS scholarships will be awarded as follows: two for international students, one for Southeast Asian student and one for UK/EU student.

Selection Criteria: Scholarship applications will be assessed on a competitive basis.
- Applicants should submit the ITS scholarship form, including a statement of 500 words on how a Masters degree would enable them to make a difference to transportation (e.g in their country, region or area) and specifically to tackle a significant problem or issue.
