Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program Overview:
For international students, the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship programme is a fully financed undergraduate and graduate scholarship. This scholarship includes travel, health insurance, a living allowance, and complete tuition.
Students from Egypt may apply for the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Programme to study undergraduate or graduate degrees at prestigious American colleges. These will be given out in accordance with character and quality as demonstrated by academic excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and extracurricular activities. Full tuition, a living stipend, as well as travel and health insurance are all included in the scholarships. Additionally, beneficiaries of scholarships will have the choice of an internship position with the business.

Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduates:
- Must be Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt (preference given to single nationality applicants).
- Intend to commence studies in the USA in 2024.
- Commit to returning to Egypt for two years after completing their bachelor’s degree.
- Have resided abroad for less than three years.
- Meet specific academic requirements, including GPA and standardized test scores.
- Active involvement in extracurricular activities.
For Masters:
- Must be Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt (preference given to non-dual nationality holders).
- Plan to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering at top US universities.
- Commit to returning to Egypt for two years after completing their bachelor’s degree.
- Possess a minimum of three years of work experience.
- Meet specific academic requirements, including GPA and standardized test scores.
- Engage in extracurricular activities.
Important Notes:
- Candidates with an Egyptian Master’s degree in a different technical field will be considered.
- Candidates with one foreign Master’s degree or an Egyptian Master’s degree in the same field they are applying for will not be considered.
- Nomination for the scholarship does not guarantee university acceptance.
- Preference given to candidates with limited international exposure.
- The scholarship is applicable only to endorsed universities.
