Diploma in Information Systems

The Diploma in Information Systems at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University covers introductory computing and mathematics, information systems, computer architecture, and computer programming using C#, object oriented programming using Java, and databases for business. Students also study systems analysis and design, data communication and networking, operating systems, and communication skills and information literacy.

Teaching is organised into Year 1 with Semester 1 and Semester 2. The curriculum includes a research methods module and a research project. Modules include Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Computer Programming Using C#, Information Systems, Introduction to Computer Architecture, Introduction to General Mathematics, and Communication Skills & Information Literacy in Semester 1, plus Systems Analysis and Design, Data Communication and Networking, Operating Systems, and Object Oriented Programming (Java) in Semester 2.
