Executive Diploma in Management(Edm)

The Executive Diploma in Management (EDM) is a professional programme for current and aspiring managers, supervisors, entrepreneurs, administrators, and professionals. It covers management principles, leadership, organisational behaviour, financial management, human resources, marketing, strategic planning, and business operations, with an emphasis on applying management theories to real organisational challenges.

The programme focuses on practical application of management theories to organisational problems. It supports professional development in leadership and decision-making, strategic planning, people management, financial management, communication, marketing and business development, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the use of information and communication technologies to support management and administrative functions.

Applicants seeking admission into the Executive Diploma in Management (EDM) should normally meet one of the following requirements:

• Five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; or
• A relevant Certificate qualification from a recognised institution; or
• A relevant professional qualification recognised by the institution; or
• Relevant work experience in management, administration, business, entrepreneurship, or a related field, subject to institutional approval.

Applicants who do not meet the standard academic requirements but possess substantial relevant work experience may be considered through an alternative or mature-entry assessment, in accordance with the institution’s admission policy.
