Master of Science Degree in Safety Health and Environment Mshe

The Midlands State University Master of Science Degree in Safety Health and Environment (MSHE) builds knowledge, skills, and competencies for safety, health, and environmental management. Study areas include hazard management, occupational safety and health management, occupational hygiene, environmental management, and safety, health and environmental policy and legislation.

Teaching and learning use lectures, laboratory activities, seminars, group work, field-based activities, research projects, and individual independent study. Assessment includes written and oral examinations, tests, written and practical assignments, field reports, and seminar presentations. The programme structure includes core modules across risk assessment, safety and environmental law and regulations, and research methods, plus electives and a research project.
