BI Presidential Scholarship for International Students Overview
A fully financed master’s scholarship is available to international students under the BI Presidential Scholarship 2024–2025. This scholarship provides a stipend for living expenses as well as full tuition coverage for each semester.
BI The Norwegian Business School is the second-biggest business school in all of Europe and the largest in Norway. BI has four sites in total, with its main campus in Oslo. The institution employs 845 individuals total, including 441 administrative and 404 academic staff members.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the BI Presidential Scholarships, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Required Language: English
- Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide
- Applicants with a GPA equivalent to A on the ECTS scale or a top-level grade on international grading systems are eligible when applying for and gaining admission to a Master of Science program.
- Current students enrolled in BI’s Siviløkonom program may apply during their third year.
- The BI Presidential Scholarship is open to applicants for all Master of Science programs.
- Note: Only candidates admitted to a Master of Science program starting in Autumn 2022 will be considered for this scholarship.

Important Application Details
- Application Deadline: March 1
- International and Domestic Applicants: Ensure you complete your application for admission, including your scholarship application, through the online application portal. Please note that scholarship applications will not be accepted via email.
- Siviløkonom 3rd Year Students: If you are in your 3rd year of the Siviløkonom program, please send your scholarship application letters to [email protected] via email.

- Candidates eligible for a regular student loan through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund can apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship but are not eligible for a living expenses stipend.
- You can apply for multiple scholarships, but only one BI Presidential Scholarship will be awarded per student.
- Applicants with a previous master’s degree do not receive priority for scholarships.
