Scholarship Coverage
Winners of the Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships will receive the following benefits:
- An Excellence Scholarship worth 500 EUR discount per semester (1000 EUR discount per year).
- Eligibility to continue receiving the discount throughout their studies, contingent on:
- Outstanding academic performance.
- Completion of a 60-hour/semester internship at one of METU’s administrative offices from the second semester. Internship tasks may include sales, marketing, representation at education fairs, and organizing student events.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Budapest Metropolitan University Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required Languages: English
- Eligible Countries: All World Countries
Bachelor’s Level Applicants:
- Minimum English level of C1.
- Exceptional performance during the Skype interview in the application process.
- A minimum score of 80% if a math test is required.
- For Art and Design Programs, a high rating for the design portfolio (minimum 30 out of 35).
- High school GPA and grades of at least 80%, equivalent to:
- SAT 1280/1600
- IB 6/7
- Cambridge IGCSE minimum 2 A or 4 AS levels.
- Other national or international high school diplomas with a GPA above 80%.
Master’s Level Applicants:
- Minimum English level of C1.
- Excellent performance during the Skype interview in the application process.
- For Art and Design Programs, a high rating for the design portfolio (minimum 30 out of 35).
- Bachelor’s GPA of at least 80%, or a First-Class Bachelor Hons Degree if available at the previous university.
- The scholarship allocation decision rests with the Admission Committee.
- A maximum of 30 scholarship recipients will be selected.
