University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarship

Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Toronto is a fully funded scholarship program for graduate studies. Mastercard Foundation states that it collaborates with a global network to promote financial inclusion and prosperity for people living in poverty, and that it believes the future of Africa will be shaped by young people with academic talent and a commitment to giving back. The program at U of T provides access to relevant university education in health-related disciplines.

The program is aimed at citizens from Sub-Saharan Africa who will undertake graduate studies in health-related disciplines at the University of Toronto. For the academic year referenced, scholarship applications were accepted to specific programs at U of T, including Master of Engineering (Biomedical), Master of Financial Insurance, MHSc Master of Health Administration, MHSc Master of Health Informatics, MPH: Health Promotion, MPH: Occupational and Environmental Health, and Africa Health Collaborative. Scholars receive full financial assistance for the duration of their graduate studies.
