Introduction

Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development (Honours) is a Bachelor program taught at Conestoga College, Canada. Intake: September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Conestoga College’s Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development (Honours) is a four-year, paid co-op degree program delivered at the honours level. Students develop an applied understanding of developing early learning programs at the classroom and community levels. The program prepares graduates for careers supporting children, youth, and families in areas including pedagogy, curriculum development, implementation and coordination, program development and coordination, and social policy work.

The program considers program design, implementation, and evaluation within a framework of research-informed practice, population focus, and social inclusion. Students experience authentic, situational learning opportunities that connect theory and practice. The program also includes opportunities to develop critical thinking and professional communication skills for work in an inter-professional team, and it challenges students to consider multiple theoretical perspectives for social policy and professional practices.
