Introduction

Upgrading and Adult Basic Education (ABE) is a Diploma program taught at Okanagan University College, Canada. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Adult Upgrading helps you complete or improve high school-level courses in English, Math, Science, and prepares you for an Adult Graduation Diploma. Okanagan University College offers English courses (English 50, 60, 70, 80, and English 12), Math courses (Math 50, 60, 70, 80, and Math 11 and 12), and Science courses including Biology 11 and 12, Chemistry 11 and 12, and Physics 11 and 12.

Okanagan University College uses a Multi-Access Delivery Model. You can attend in person or live online. Students also have access to a Learner Lab at campuses for in-person help. The program uses a skills assessment process with automatic enrolment in Math and English skills assessments for new students (MATH 001P and ENGL 001P) and course choices based on assessment results. Finishing a required course can provide an access pathway to Okanagan College programs.
