Students also complete experiential learning, including visits to Indigenous centres or correctional institutes and an internship with community-based or governmental organizations.
Senior students have the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in community-based or governmental organizations through a 120-hour internship, where they observe and participate in a job-related capacity under supervision. Alumni from Redeemer’s Applied Social Sciences program are making impact in social and community settings, and the program describes career pathways including social work and policy roles.
