Introduction

Finance is a Bachelor program taught at Redeemer College, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Redeemer University offers Finance as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, offered as a major. Students study areas including corporate finance, investment analysis, and financial planning, alongside specialized coursework such as Wealth Management and Legacy Planning, with an ethical framework focused on biblical stewardship.

The program includes first- and second-year courses that introduce business areas and skills to read and interpret financial statements. Students also build skills in courses like Insurance and Risk Management; Legacy Planning: Retirement, Estate and the Law; and Financial Markets and Institutions. Learning uses a classroom approach for research and assessment, plus a case method. Through a business co-op program, students participate in two eight-month paid work terms and make decisions for a student-managed investment fund while using financial databases.

Graduates can pursue careers as corporate financial analysts, estate advisors, financial advisors, financial planners, private bankers, and wealth managers.
