Introduction

Music and Worship is a Bachelor program taught at Redeemer College, Canada. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Redeemer University’s Music and Worship is a Bachelor of Arts degree offered as a major and as a minor. Students study the role of music in worship through a wide selection of musical literature, including principal eras, genres, and cultural sources, with emphasis on worship music from past to present.

Learning combines classroom work with hands-on practice. Students learn to articulate biblical and theological foundations for music in faith, church communities, and life, and they have opportunities to design worship services. The program includes ensemble work and leading on-campus Chapel services, and a 120-work internship in a local church, school, or other organizational setting under the direction of a musician or pastor.
