Introduction

Finance is a Masters program taught at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Center for Advanced Studies (CAS), Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.

The Master Finance at DHBW CAS offers a portfolio of finance modules that lets students meet complex professional requirements in Finance. Students learn models, methods, and instruments used across different areas of finance, and they can specialize based on the variety of job profiles in finance. The topic of digitalization is included through digitalization modules and through the application of relevant digitalization methods in the specialist modules.

The programme is modular and designed around individual needs. Students build their study plan by selecting modules fully from the degree programme or by combining modules with election modules from other DHBW CAS programmes. Teaching uses the DHBW’s nine locations and three campuses, with some modules offered online (virtual presence) and exam locations available across many sites. Seminar and project work connects to work practice, using company challenges and documenting results for the employer.

It is also aimed at employees in finance (such as banks and insurance) and employees in finance functions within industry, trading, or service companies (e.g., Treasury or financing), including those who want to focus on digitalization in finance.
