Introduction

Master of Business Administration is a Masters program taught at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Center for Advanced Studies (CAS), Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.

The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Center for Advanced Studies (CAS) offers a Master of Business Administration designed for non-economics graduates and other non-business professionals who want to move into management or leadership roles. Students study topics of business administration with focus on leadership-oriented BWL, plus research and cross-disciplinary competencies, including Masterarbeit, Forschungsmethoden, and Kolloquium.

The program is modular and includes 15 study modules total. It combines ongoing work with study: students keep their job and apply challenges from daily work while reflecting practice through theories and checking results back in practice. Teaching is delivered across the DHBW sites, with the possibility to conduct (parts of) teaching online. A full-time example model includes a kick-off day, 72 on-site days, and in general one exam per module.

Admission is described for applicants with a bachelor degree from any field, a work context linked to the master, at least one year of professional experience or participation in the certification program, and an existing employment relationship where the employer is informed about the master.
