Introduction

Architektur is a Bachelor program taught at Hafencity Universität Hamburg, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

HafenCity Universität Hamburg offers Architektur as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and continues in a Master of Science (M.Sc.). The course focuses on design and includes Entwurfsprojekte as the core of the studies. These projects are taught mono- and interdisciplinarily and cooperatively, using architectural topics through design work and exercises.

In the projects, students develop concepts and strategies individually and in different group sizes over one to two semesters, applying the knowledge and skills they learn. During the Master programme, the page highlights individual architectural skills and preferences, with project-oriented design work, research, and development in the foreground.

The Bachelor programme aims to prepare graduates for work in architecture and planning offices, including areas such as building and project management, building execution, and public construction administration. After completing the Master, the page states there is an opportunity to pursue Promotion.
