Master's in Advanced IT Security

Advanced IT Security is a Masters program taught at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.

Advanced IT Security (Master) at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen builds on prior IT security knowledge. During the programme, students expand and deepen expertise in IT security, including cryptology, digital forensics, hardware security, and cyberpsychology.

The programme runs for 3 semesters. It includes compulsory modules such as “Implementation Attacks and Countermeasures” and “IT Security Management and Incident Response” in the first semester, and “Applied Cyberpsychology” and “Human Factors in IT Security” in the second semester. In the third semester, students prepare the Master thesis within 6 months.

With the Master degree, Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen states that graduates can be employed at a high level in companies, consulting service providers, authorities, the police, the military, or intelligence services. The programme also states that the acquired knowledge and method competencies enable promotion.

The minimum requirements for admission in Advanced IT Security at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen as pre-requiste for admission in Advanced IT Security.

Die Zielgruppe des Masterstudiengangs Advanced IT Security sind Absolventen aus Bachelorstudiengängen der IT Sicherheit. Die Zulassungsvoraussetzungen sind im Hinblick auf diese Zielgruppe jedoch so gestaltet, dass auch Absolventen der Bachelor Informatik-Studiengänge anderer Hochschulen, Universitäten oder Berufsakademien das Studium aufnehmen können. Voraussetzungen: Bachelorabschluss.
