Master's in Systems Engineering
Introduction
Systems Engineering is a Masters program taught at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen, Germany. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.
The Systems Engineering (Master) at Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen brings together basic and specialist knowledge from classical engineering disciplines to develop, construct, and manufacture intelligent technical systems. Students work on systems that capture, convert, transmit, and process signals and information and then implement them as subsystems and in their environment.
The program focuses on handling the complexity of extensive systems and the complex processes for their development, realization, market launch, and operation, with the goal of selecting the best overall system solution across software, mechanics, and electronics. Students learn systems engineering methods and planning management topics such as project management, quality assurance, and configuration management, and they complete modules in areas including IT security and the Internet of Things.
