BSC Chemistry
Introduction
LMU Munich describes the BSc programme as “Chemistry and Biochemistry” within the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy. In the first semester, you begin with a mandatory introduction into the study program, followed by lectures including “Allgemeine und Anorganische Chemie 1”. You also take part in the exercises to the lectures and a basic practical course.
The programme is organised around a lecture period, with exercises and the basic practical course starting in the second week of lectures. LMU Munich states that you must register for both. Exams take place after the end of the lecture period, and your timetable is available on LMU Munich’s website or in the Online Course Catalogue (LSF). International applicants are instructed to enroll via post at the International Office.
