Angewandte Psychologie (B.Sc.) at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences trains you in psychology’s description, explanation, prediction, and change of human experience and behaviour. In the first study section you take foundations such as Allgemeine Psychologie, Sozialpsychologie, Entwicklungspsychologie, Differentielle und Persönlichkeitspsychologie, and Biologische Psychologie. You are also introduced to application fields including Klinische Psychologie, Wirtschaftspsychologie, and Pädagogische Psychologie, plus psychological diagnostics (Grundlagen der psychologischen Diagnostik, Diagnostische Testverfahren).

The degree is structured as a full-time programme over 7 Semester. It includes an empirically oriented curriculum with Empirisch-wissenschaftliches Arbeiten and Statistik, applied through zwei experimentellen Praktika (Empirisch-experimentelles Praktikum). In the first study section you end with a practical Studiensemester (Praktikum) supported by practical reflection. From the 6./7. Semester you choose one Studienschwerpunkt: Wirtschaftspsychologie or Pädagogische Psychologie und Frühe Hilfen.

Graduates work as Fachkraft in areas including pädagogische Einrichtungen and offers of Frühe Hilfen, Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, Wirtschaft, and public personnel administration, in personnel roles, or other practical application areas.
