Introduction

Scienze Biologiche Ambientali is a Bachelor program taught at Viterbo State University, Italy. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Environmental Biological Sciences is a three-year undergraduate degree at Viterbo State University (Viterbo State University). It builds a solid foundation in the life sciences across cellular, molecular, functional, and eco-evolutionary levels, covering microorganisms, plants, animals, and humans. The program includes multi-disciplinary investigation methods and structured learning progression aimed at understanding biological phenomena with increasing complexity.

The program also develops specific ecological and environmental skills. Students study how biodiversity is analyzed and monitored and how it interacts with environmental change. The degree includes abilities to evaluate the condition of ecosystems and communities, and to develop action strategies for conserving biodiversity, habitats, and territory.

Graduates can work in public or private technical roles, or as independent workers, including laboratory technicians and roles in environmental monitoring, remediation, and management for both terrestrial and marine environments, plus specialized environmental guides. After passing the State Exam, graduates can enroll in the Register of Biologists, section B, as Junior Biologist.
