Diploma in Hotel Management

Diploma in Hotel Management is a Diploma program taught at Brickfields Asia College, Malaysia. Intake: January, April, June and August. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2.5 years) options.

The Diploma in Hotel Management at Reliance College is a pathway diploma that combines hospitality and tourism study with hotel operations subjects. Students study MPU modules such as Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Principles of Marketing, Business Communication, Principles of Management, Food Safety and Sanitation, and Mainstream English. The programme also includes hotel-focused modules like Hotel Operations Management, Housekeeping Management, Front Office Management, Food & Beverage Service Skills, Food & Beverage Management, and Commercial Kitchen Operations.

Learning uses a mix of hands-on practical training, workshops, and classroom learning. Assessments include coursework and exams, plus an internship component with industry-based training aimed at enhancing practical experience in real-world contexts. The assessment structure includes coursework with practical assessments, assignments, presentations, and case studies; final written examinations for theoretical comprehension; and internship training.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Hotel Management at Brickfields Asia College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Brickfields Asia College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Brickfields Asia College as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Hotel Management.
